Essential oils review!

So I thought it would be fun to do some reviews on certain products that help me relax and that I enjoy.

Firstly I would like to discuss my collection of essential oils. I had more but they are all finished. Need to start building up my collection again.

I will start with my most favourite scent that I love so much...

Women's balance by Neals Yard -  www.nealsyardremedies.com/aromatherapy/aromatherapy-oils-and-blends/essential-oil-blends/2715.html

This is the most relaxing scent I have ever smelled. The bottle states "relaxing for serenity and poise".

I usually put this into my essential oil diffuser which I bought on Amazon last year www.radhabeauty.com/collections/aromatherapy-massage/products/radha-aromatherapy-portable-essential-oil-diffuser.

I normally put this on when I am feeling stressed or meditating. The scent is so homely and warming that it can be used just to make your home smell nice.

I rate this essential oil 10/10!

I rate the diffuser 7/10 only because I would prefer one that has a more powerful spray so the oil can be diffused into a larger area. That being said it is a great diffuser and really easy t o use.

Next I will be reviewing my other essential oils stay tuned!

What a crazy world!

So the whole let's start blogging again and keep fit crap didnt last lol. Been far too busy with uni and all the things that come along with being a student nurse. Then wam bam thank you mam CORONA! Like what the hell! So I am now trying to adjust to life as I've never known it or ever imagined it to be. Uni is cancelled and I've now embarked on my journey to work as a student nurse for 6 months to help in this crazy pandemic. But there is a few positives for me....I want to work where I am placed and I get to earn some money. The money struggles for the past 3 years have been hard so this opportunity will actually make my life so much easier. I am scared, excited and really cant wait to see where the next 6 months takes me. Soooooo on that note I thought I'd document my journey 😁😁😁x Stay tuned... Lynne  xxxx

The start of my nursing journey 😁

It was 2014, I was 22 going on 23. I was in a dead end job working in a supermarket and had started to hate working there and knew I needed a change. Since I left school I had worked in opticians as an optical assistant and loved helping others 🤓 A job came up at an eye clinic at a hospital 1.5 hours away from my house. I had applied before for the same position but stupidly knocked it back a few years previous for a job in an office, that ended terribly 🙈 Anyway, I applied for the job and got an interview, the same day the called and said I had the job 😁 My role was a support worker at the eye clinic and I was very excited to get started. I started the job october 2014 and theres when I realised I loved caring for others 🏥 Fast forward a year, I was asked by a few of the nurses if I ever thought about training as a nurse. I laughed as no the thought never even crossed my mind 🤣 I always assumed I could never afford to go back to education or would not be smart enough. However, th...

Why I decided to be a nurse 💊💉🏥

So it's currently 5.30am and I am on my way to work. I won't get home until 9.30pm at the earliest tonight. Sometimes I ponder my decisions in life (laughs) as I have little energy as it is and I've decided to complete another 12 hour shift. The reason I do this is because I want to be a nurse one day. I am currently studying children's nursing at university. I am trying to work in children's wards to build my experience and get a taster for what my career is going to entail. Getting used to 12 hour shifts is also a benefit as I will be doing 3/4 in a row. My choice to be a nurse wasn't something I had always dreamed of. I knew I wanted to work in healthcare somewhere but never dreamed I would be a nurse. People have told me I would be a great psychologist and I did look into it. I have heard from a few people it isn't what it's made out to be. Then I tried nursing in adult wards and knew straight away it wasn't my calling. As soon as I...
