Do what makes you happy ❤

Well today I had a great day at the holistic ways festival. A day were lots of different holistic therapists come together to promote their healing Powers. Lots of interesting stalls selling crystals, incense, jewellery and lots of other lovely things. Beautiful people on the stage providing us with great soulful music. I had my very first clairvoyant reading and I must say I was blown away. The things she said were spot on and she gave me such clarity. I also attended a talk on crystals which finished with an amazing meditation. I met some beautiful souls with such uplifting energy. I bought some incense, crystals and some lovely camomile tea. All in all it was a great day that was needed. Alot of people believe in different things and that's ok. Do what's right for you, do what works for you. Don't let anyone else tell you it's silly or a load of rubbish. If you find peace and happiness doing something you enjoy then who are you hurting? No one! Just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean others shouldn't. My message today is believe in what your soul desires and loves. Do what makes you feel good. Look after yourself first. Peace and love xx

Finishing college 🤗

So I have officially passed my HNC in nursing and will be starting university in September to study children's nursing. The road was a very long one, I started the course in September 2015. I had always told myself I'd never be able to go to uni as I couldn't afford it. Then one day I just told myself I can do it. I am now a few months from starting university and I can't believe I made it through the course. There was times I wanted to give up and forget it. It has been a huge stress and weight on my shoulders for these past two years. Endless tears, tiredness, stress and no social life. I can honestly say I worked my butt off and I am so unbelievably proud of myself. The message I want to leave you with is never think you can't do something and never give up. If you have dreams chase them and don't stop until you have succeeded. Lynne xxxx

What a crazy world!

So the whole let's start blogging again and keep fit crap didnt last lol. Been far too busy with uni and all the things that come along with being a student nurse. Then wam bam thank you mam CORONA! Like what the hell! So I am now trying to adjust to life as I've never known it or ever imagined it to be. Uni is cancelled and I've now embarked on my journey to work as a student nurse for 6 months to help in this crazy pandemic. But there is a few positives for me....I want to work where I am placed and I get to earn some money. The money struggles for the past 3 years have been hard so this opportunity will actually make my life so much easier. I am scared, excited and really cant wait to see where the next 6 months takes me. Soooooo on that note I thought I'd document my journey 😁😁😁x Stay tuned... Lynne  xxxx

The start of my nursing journey 😁

It was 2014, I was 22 going on 23. I was in a dead end job working in a supermarket and had started to hate working there and knew I needed a change. Since I left school I had worked in opticians as an optical assistant and loved helping others 🤓 A job came up at an eye clinic at a hospital 1.5 hours away from my house. I had applied before for the same position but stupidly knocked it back a few years previous for a job in an office, that ended terribly 🙈 Anyway, I applied for the job and got an interview, the same day the called and said I had the job 😁 My role was a support worker at the eye clinic and I was very excited to get started. I started the job october 2014 and theres when I realised I loved caring for others 🏥 Fast forward a year, I was asked by a few of the nurses if I ever thought about training as a nurse. I laughed as no the thought never even crossed my mind 🤣 I always assumed I could never afford to go back to education or would not be smart enough. However, th...
