Remaining positive when you feel stressed or annoyed..

We all know it is not possible to stay positive 100% of the time. Things annoy you, people annoy you and no matter what happens this will always exist. It's how we deal with these situations that make the biggest difference. 
For example I am sat here now on the bus, it's at least 20 degrees outside (I live in scotland) so for us this is warm. There is not a hint of wind and there is this insanely annoying beeping sound coming from a broken emergency door. I am exhausted after a long day at work filled with many things that have annoyed me.
Instead of dwelling on the heat, the beeping sound or the crappy day I've had I stick my earphones in and drift away. I start to think of the great things that await me when I get home. Seeing my wonderful boyfriend and talking about random things like we always do. Making our favourite dinner which is chilli corne carni EXTRA HOT! and seeing my beautiful baby boy (my bunny rabbit). We have so much love all around us right now although we feel stressed or annoyed. 
When your feeling down or have had a bad day then list what is good right now. Who or what you appreciate and make sure they know it also. Send that text to that friend who you haven't seen in months, tell them you love them and appreciate them. Do all the things that make you happy again, painting, singing, making your favourite dinner. Do them and you will feel so much better.

Finishing college 🤗

So I have officially passed my HNC in nursing and will be starting university in September to study children's nursing. The road was a very long one, I started the course in September 2015. I had always told myself I'd never be able to go to uni as I couldn't afford it. Then one day I just told myself I can do it. I am now a few months from starting university and I can't believe I made it through the course. There was times I wanted to give up and forget it. It has been a huge stress and weight on my shoulders for these past two years. Endless tears, tiredness, stress and no social life. I can honestly say I worked my butt off and I am so unbelievably proud of myself. The message I want to leave you with is never think you can't do something and never give up. If you have dreams chase them and don't stop until you have succeeded. Lynne xxxx

What a crazy world!

So the whole let's start blogging again and keep fit crap didnt last lol. Been far too busy with uni and all the things that come along with being a student nurse. Then wam bam thank you mam CORONA! Like what the hell! So I am now trying to adjust to life as I've never known it or ever imagined it to be. Uni is cancelled and I've now embarked on my journey to work as a student nurse for 6 months to help in this crazy pandemic. But there is a few positives for me....I want to work where I am placed and I get to earn some money. The money struggles for the past 3 years have been hard so this opportunity will actually make my life so much easier. I am scared, excited and really cant wait to see where the next 6 months takes me. Soooooo on that note I thought I'd document my journey 😁😁😁x Stay tuned... Lynne  xxxx
